I'm Too Sexy For Shalom!
Hello my dear
Thanks for all the death threats.
Have you ever viewed the content on my channel?
You seem to have a bee up you twat about my avatar, but this shouldn't worry a man whose blog is full of images of mutilated corpses and death metal album covers.
Get out that closet Lorenzo! The denial of our love is doing strange things to that pretty little head of yours. xxxMwah
Question Mark & The Mysterians
I'll pay attention to anyone with the balls to legally change their name to "?".
A fantastic example of lost 60s garage band genius.. The secret source of the Make-Ups power? Check out their amazing back catalogue.

Dark Mountain Project
As usual, the subject of civilisation's imminent collapse draws me like a moth to the flame. Last week after reading an article in the Guardian on the impact of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, I started doing some checking into the Dark Mountain Project.
Co-founded by Paul Kingsnorth (One No, Many Yeses), it's first offering is a collection of writings which propose as statement of fact that mankind's current free fall into oblivion is already past the point of return.
The project manifesto is militant and matter of fact, as if they know the planet is about to fart us off into space at any minute.. Hopefully they'll have enough time to say 'I told you so' before we go.
There will be a Project gathering in Wales later this month.. We'll soon find out if they're serious.
Personally, I think the only hope we had was Bill Drummond's failed attempt to balance world vugum by placing an effigy of Elvis at the summit of Everest. Maybe it could still work, but with much stronger medicine.. I'm thinking this Kev Hopper track, Jimmy Savile's jewellery and the severed head of Madonna.
Meantime: Kev Hopper
PS. As we won't be around after the shit hits the fan.. Here's some postcards from after man.
Taken on Hashima Island, near the cost of Japan (also known as Battleship Island or Ghost Island).. It's got the same dead vibe as the photo stories on 28DL, but it's a whole abandoned city!

Up All Night
Looks to me like you're spending way too much time on this guy..
That said, I do like the traktor picture.. And the guitar solo.
I'm working on a small mind bomb for him right now.

That last soundtrack mixtape was so good i had to throw one back. It reminded me of a time before i got into bands and all i was into was film & TV soundtracks. I remember Stevie Wonder playing some bad ass harmonica on the Howard the Duck score. Sadly i just had a listen and it's shit.

I started a new blog just for musics theboxandtheghostinit this is the first compilation. I'll be posting you ear medicine recipies after i've tested them for side effects.
I've only heard 'Woods' Sunlit 7" tis lush. Is The xx album worth getting i only know the dubstep version of islands on 'Playlist B' will check out your other recomendations.
I've been getting worse. I really don't want to go back on medication but it seems like the only way i can function in society and put up with the horrorshow is to be drugged to the gills. There's obviously not enough fluoride in the water these days.
Yep. Back on Fakebook. Just needed to shake the shit off my tail. Not that i will use it. It's a social networking site that has shown me that i should never have socialized with these wet brained bum-gee.
The witch hunting is just for lorenzojhwh. He subbed me again under a sock account. The fool. He opened a box of mental he wasn't expecting and i reserve the right to terrorize his 'mardi exorcist' ass whenever i fancy.
Good to have you back Grockel.

I know, I'm Rubbish..
Apologies for not being more active on the blog.. Russia invaded Finland 3 weeks ago and we are currently living from day to day on whatever scraps of food we find amongst the rubble of supermarkets and fast food outlets. Internet connections and phone signals are weak and inconsistent.. Tell the World.
Not much has actually happened, of course.. Except I currently have tinnitus, which is driving me a bit nuts. Story goes.. Three weeks ago. Dropped a stepladder. The end. Part of my inner ear has now been permanently damaged causing part of my range of hearing to be replaced by a whining hum (similar to a TV test signal, so you know).
Naturally, I'm suddenly very interested in a subject which normally would have bored me stupid. I've researched two possible reasons for this condition which I like the sound of.. One: The sound is a phantom, similar to an amputee experiencing an itch in a limb to which he's no longer attached. The sound does not exist in any measurable sense and in the view of medical science should be treated as a mild mental illness.. Two: I can hear my brain. Some scientists believe that an operational brain produces background noise which is normally filtered out by the inner ear. This filter can be temporarily, or in some cases permanently switched off by a loud noise or inner ear trauma.
What sounds better..? A ghost in the head, or hearing myself think? Both are fucking annoying.
How's tings with you?
Is witch finding your new profession? I see the Colonel's on Facebook.. Is he back?
Been listening to the Fire on Fire.. Which I like.
Also listening to The XX, Woods, Os Haxixins, Sun Araw and whatever else takes my mind of the test card.
And thank fuck that the Yanks have made a super shit looking version of the classic TV series 'The Prisoner'.. It reminded me to watch it again.. Which you should too.. fantastic!!
New one..? Bag of shite.
Labels:
os haxixins,
sun araw,
the prisoner,
the xx,
tinnitus,
woods
I Almost Gave Up.. Almost.
This could be the musical equivalent of scientists suddenly discovering that there is intelligent life in the Universe.. Another Kimosabbe?
